The international workshop “Urban and Regional disparities in the Baltic States: sociospatial differentiation and polarised development in turbulent times” will be organized in Lithuanian Centre for Social sciences, Institute of Sociology A. Goštauto str. 9. Vilnius. The workshop is organised by the Department of Regional and urban studies and the Faculty of Geography and Earth sciences, University of Latvia. The workshop will take place on the 8th – 9th of December 2021. The comparative analysis of the most recent trends of spatial development of urban spaces and their peripheries in Lithuania and Latvia is the main topic of the event.
